AV Field Service Representative

About the role

The AV Field Service Representative will install, maintain, and operate advanced Audio‑Visual display walls and video‑teleconferencing (VTC) systems for Department of Defense and other governmental customers. The position is based onsite in Djibouti or Jordan and supports a deployed environment with military‑style living conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, configure, calibrate and maintain AV equipment such as projectors, video walls, microphones, speakers and control systems.
• Configure, operate and troubleshoot VTC endpoints and related AV gear for both classified and unclassified conference rooms.
• Monitor and ensure the quality of VTC calls, perform pre‑call testing, live monitoring and post‑call quality checks.
• Diagnose and resolve audio, video and network connectivity issues across codecs, displays and peripheral devices.
• Provide on‑site technical support during events and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Perform routine system testing, preventive maintenance and manage AV inventory and spare parts.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with 0‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Current and active U.S. passport.
• Ability to work in a deployed, fluid operational tempo and adapt to changing mission requirements.
