Counter Uncrewed System (cUXS) Integrator – Part‑Time Contractor

About the role

The Counter Uncrewed System (cUXS) Integrator supports the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF‑HOA) by integrating uncrewed‑air‑system capabilities into operational plans and training across East Africa. This part‑time, on‑call position involves extensive travel to outstations in Somalia and Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate cUXS activities with CJTF‑HOA commander and force protection staff.
• Deploy to East African outstations to conduct training, SOP implementation, and data collection.
• Analyze uncrewed‑air‑system (UXS) data and report findings to senior leadership.
• Advise and mentor CJ‑38 and outstation leadership on cUXS battle drills and emerging policies.
• Author and update standard operating procedures and provide integration recommendations across service components.
• Coordinate “red air” flight operations and integrate information between CJ2 and CJ3 directorates.

Required profile

• Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• 2 years (or 4 years) experience with UXS/cUXS systems integration.
• Prior experience with UXS/cUXS programs, policies, or operations.

Required skills

• UAV pilot certification (FAA Part 107) – civilian or military.
• UXS data analysis.
• cUXS system integration.
