Government Property Manager I (Tier 2)

About the role

Fluor is seeking a Government Property Manager I (Tier 2) to lead the Government Property function within an assigned Area of Responsibility. The role ensures full compliance with FAR, DFARS, and related regulations while maintaining accurate property records and supporting project success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receipt, tracking, usage, and disposition of government property in accordance with FAR and DFARS.
• Maintain the Master Property Book of Record and electronic control systems for all government property.
• Develop, communicate, and enforce Property Control Practices to achieve satisfactory audit ratings.
• Train and develop subordinate staff and project personnel on contractual and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and distribute required reports, including UID items, inventory verifications, LDD reports, DD 1149 transfers, and annual DD1662 property reports.
• Support contingency operations and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 9‑12 years of relevant experience in government property management.
• Authorization to work in the job location.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email applications.
• Experience using specialized property control software.
• NPMA certification (CPPA/CPPM) preferred.
