Counter Uncrewed System (cUXS) Integrator

About the role

CACI is hiring a Counter Uncrewed System (cUXS) Integrator for the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA). The role is part-time, on-call and rotational, with up to 100% travel outside the continental United States. The integrator acts as the CJTF-HOA Commander's and Staff Director's principal integrator and advocate for incorporating cUXS systems, policy and planning mandates into CJTF-HOA plans, operations and activities at US installations in East Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the cUXS Team with the Commander's and Force Protection staff priorities
• Deploy to outstations in East Africa, including Somalia and Kenya, for training, SOP implementation, data gathering and assessments
• Coordinate with host nation airspace controllers
• Assist with training sessions, including initial reception and training of the rotational security force (SECFOR)
• Analyze UXS data and report findings to CJTF-HOA leaders
• Advise and mentor leadership on cUXS battle drills, policies and procedures
• Write reports, create or update Standard Operating Procedures and recommend cUXS integration across services and outstations
• Maintain cUXS operations continuity between rotational guard deployments and integrate data between CJ2 and CJ3 directorates
• Support CJ-38 system operations by coordinating red air flights at outstations

Required profile

• Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for SCI
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 2 years of UXS/cUXS integration experience, or 4 years of such experience
• Prior experience with UXS/cUXS systems, programs or policies
• Nice to have: experience in Africa or with AFRICOM, small UXS pilot experience, and UXS pilot certification such as FAA Part 107
