Education & Policy Consultant

About the role

Monitor Impact is seeking a Djibouti‑based Education & Policy Consultant to support its education and policy work in the country. This is a temporary, contract‑based engagement, with scope and duration to be defined according to project needs and the consultant’s background.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate access to local educational materials and resources.
• Identify and engage with relevant stakeholders, institutions, and local contacts.
• Provide insight into the local education and policy environment.
• Support policy and outreach activities as needed.

Required profile

• Based in Djibouti with a strong local network.
• Relevant experience or familiarity with education, public policy, government, civil society, international organizations, or related fields.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of French, Arabic, Somali, or Afar is an advantage.
