Electrical Engineering Project Manager

About the role

We are a leading diversified business group in Djibouti seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Project Manager. You will lead electrical projects from the engineering design phase through commissioning and final handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee electrical projects from design to handover.
• Coordinate engineers, technicians, site supervisors, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage client relationships and lead project meetings.
• Synchronize engineering, procurement, logistics, and on‑site execution activities.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, quality, and overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications and HSE standards.
• Prepare project reports and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical project management.
• Strong leadership, client‑relationship, and multidisciplinary‑team management skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Results‑oriented with a commitment to quality, safety, and deadlines.

• Low‑ and medium‑voltage (LV/MV) electrical systems.
• Switchgear and lighting systems.
• Generators and renewable energy solutions.
