Gender Equality & Social Inclusion Specialist (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Non-Key Expert to integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations into the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme, ensuring inclusive participation and equitable access to opportunities generated by the cooperation.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations across programme activities.
• Ensure gender‑responsive implementation and equitable access to opportunities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in gender studies, social sciences, development studies or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion or inclusive development in international cooperation.
• At least 4 years designing and applying gender‑responsive approaches in donor‑funded programmes.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.

Required skills

• Gender analysis and development of sex‑disaggregated indicators.
• Facilitation of inclusive stakeholder participation.
• Design and delivery of gender‑responsive training and communication.
• Familiarity with EU external‑action gender policy.
