Senior Project Cost Control Analyst

About the role

The Senior Project Cost Control Analyst will support KBR's Readiness and Sustainment division at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. This onsite position is responsible for cost forecasting, budgeting, cash‑flow reporting, and compliance across a portfolio of defense‑related projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze cost trends, correct errors and provide forward guidance to maximize revenue and profit.
• Develop and control baselines, budgets and forecasts using program resource estimates.
• Monitor schedule milestones, calculate estimate at complete (EAC) and manage scope changes.
• Prepare and deliver customer reports in accordance with contract terms.
• Develop price and cost estimates using complex pricing concepts.
• Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and charge number controls.
• Track subcontractor costs, vendor invoices and program funding requirements.
• Apply FAR, CAS and government accounting standards to all financial activities.
• Perform accruals, account reconciliations and balance‑sheet analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project cost control or financial analysis within a defense or government contracting environment.
• Strong understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate with senior program and finance leaders.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
