Firefighter / EMT

About the role

KBR is seeking a Firefighter / EMT to support fire and emergency services at Camp Lemonnier Naval Base in Djibouti. The role involves structural and aircraft fire suppression, emergency medical response, rescue operations, and routine maintenance of fire apparatus and facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Control and extinguish structural and aircraft fires.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide EMT care.
• Perform rescue activities and public assistance.
• Maintain fire apparatus, equipment, and facilities.
• Complete associated administrative duties and public education.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of experience as a firefighter.
• Fluent in English with a valid passport and driver’s license.
• Maintain National Registry EMT certification and CPR card.

Required skills

• DoD/IFSAC/ProBoard Fire Fighter I & II certification.
• DoD/IFSAC/ProBoard Airport Firefighter certification.
• DoD/IFSAC/ProBoard HazMat Awareness & Operations certification.
• National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NR-EMT) certification.
• CPR certification.
