About the role
NTU International is seeking an EU Global Gateway Coordination Expert to support the European Union’s Global Gateway Initiative across partner countries. The role involves strengthening expert networks, increasing awareness of investment opportunities, and providing project preparation support for EU‑funded infrastructure and reform programmes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement reform strategies and policy actions aligned with Global Gateway priorities.
- Coordinate activities across priority sectors and a wide range of stakeholders, including partner‑country institutions, IFIs, Team Europe actors, and private sector partners.
- Identify and prepare investment projects, conduct regulatory and sector analyses, and support feasibility studies and pipeline development.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, dialogue, and institutional coordination processes.
- Contribute to donor coordination and ensure alignment with EU external cooperation objectives.
Required profile
- Minimum five years of professional experience in development cooperation, infrastructure, investment or related fields.
- Proven experience in EU‑funded external cooperation programmes and project preparation under the Global Gateway or Team Europe frameworks.
- Experience working with partner‑country institutions, international financial institutions, development finance institutions or private sector stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, coordination and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- English proficiency at C1 level (mandatory); additional languages are an asset.
