HUMINT Analyst – Human Intelligence & Counterintelligence

About the role

The Department of War seeks a seasoned HUMINT Analyst to design, develop, and execute intelligence solutions that support human intelligence (HUMINT) and counter‑intelligence (CI) missions. You will work in a fast‑paced, joint operational environment, providing analytical support that informs decision‑makers on operational risk, collection value, and mission impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement intelligence solutions for DoW HUMINT and CI operations.
• Provide analytical support to collection missions and review Intelligence Information Reports (IIRs).
• Coordinate IIR evaluations, source validation, and produce actionable recommendations.
• Brief stakeholders, collaborate with joint and inter‑agency partners, and share expertise across teams.
• Support shift work and forward operating environments as required.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience conducting DoW HUMINT or CI collection.
• 5+ years performing analytical functions that support HUMINT/CI collection, including IIR production and source vetting.
• Experience in Joint Task Force, Combatant Command, or similar joint operational settings.
• Ability to apply HUMINT/CI analysis, client tradecraft, and critical thinking to operational decisions.
• TS/SCI clearance and a Bachelor’s degree.
