About the role
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the bank’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. The CFO advises senior management on fiscal control, profitability, and strategic financial decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Manage finance, financial planning, MIS, budgeting, cash‑flow projections and ensure data integrity.
- Supervise filing of statutory returns and regulatory reporting.
- Prepare and present management and financial reports for the CEO and Group.
- Oversee asset‑liability management, fund management, and risk‑based auditing.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and cost‑control initiatives.
- Develop and implement tax strategy and ensure tax compliance.
- Drive financial strategy, capital expenditure management, and revenue optimization.
- Train and cross‑train finance staff and provide coverage during absences.
Required profile
- CPA (T) with a relevant Master’s degree or equivalent.
- Approximately 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in senior management within the banking sector.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Strong analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
