Senior Project Cost Control Analyst

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Project Cost Control Analyst to join its Readiness and Sustainment team at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. The analyst will support multiple projects by providing cost forecasts, cash‑flow reporting, and compliance oversight while working closely with program and finance managers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze cost trends, correct errors and provide forward guidance to maximize revenue and profit.
• Develop and control baselines, budgets and forecasts using program resource estimates.
• Monitor schedule milestones, calculate Estimate at Completion (EAC) and manage scope changes.
• Prepare and deliver customer reports in accordance with contract terms.
• Create and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and charge number controls.
• Track subcontractor costs, vendor invoices and program funding requirements.
• Apply FAR, CAS and other government accounting standards.
• Perform complex accounting tasks such as accruals, account reconciliation and balance‑sheet analysis.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in project cost control or financial management.
• Familiarity with government contracts and defense‑related accounting standards.
• Ability to interact with all levels of program and finance management.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
