Terminal Manager

About the role

We are seeking a French‑speaking Terminal Manager for an Oil & Gas client in Djibouti. The role oversees all aspects of terminal operations, ensuring productivity, profitability, efficiency and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day terminal activities such as shipping, road loading/offloading, drumming and other operations.
• Oversee tank and pipeline preparation during product changes.
• Control inventory and ensure stock performance meets contractual requirements.
• Maintain terminal infrastructure, equipment and systems.
• Support the General Manager on business expansion projects and investment initiatives.
• Implement and maintain EHS procedures, quality standards, work instructions and internal audits.
• Coordinate staff training and development with the Safety Officer.
• Manage procurement of terminal spares and consumables within the annual budget.
• Prepare routine operational reports for the General Manager.
• Act as the control holder for operational procedures.
