About the role
We are seeking a French‑speaking Terminal Manager for an Oil & Gas client in Djibouti. The role oversees all aspects of terminal operations, ensuring productivity, profitability, efficiency and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day terminal activities such as shipping, road loading/offloading, drumming and other operations.
- Oversee tank and pipeline preparation during product changes.
- Control inventory and ensure stock performance meets contractual requirements.
- Maintain terminal infrastructure, equipment and systems.
- Support the General Manager on business expansion projects and investment initiatives.
- Implement and maintain EHS procedures, quality standards, work instructions and internal audits.
- Coordinate staff training and development with the Safety Officer.
- Manage procurement of terminal spares and consumables within the annual budget.
- Prepare routine operational reports for the General Manager.
- Act as the control holder for operational procedures.
