M&E and Research Field Manager – Djibouti

About the role

STOOS Consulting is looking for an experienced Monitoring & Evaluation and Research Field Manager to lead field operations in Djibouti. The role supports upcoming research, assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and third‑party monitoring assignments across humanitarian and development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all field activities for assigned projects.
• Supervise data collection teams, ensuring high data quality and adherence to ethical standards.
• Manage logistics, access, and security arrangements for fieldwork.
• Implement safeguarding, confidentiality, and Do No Harm principles.
• Maintain regular communication with partners, donors, and UN agencies.
• Prepare progress reports and documentation of field findings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in M&E, research, or assessments within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to manage field teams and logistics in challenging environments.
• Strong understanding of ethics, safeguarding, and data confidentiality.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
