Specialist, Materials – Ordnance

About the role

KBR is seeking a Materials Specialist to support ordnance operations at Camp Lemonnier Naval Base in Djibouti, Africa. The role ensures the efficient administration of production control, inventory management, and shipping/receiving of critical parts and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming parts and materials for damage, verify quantity, part number, and serial numbers.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare status reports for requested and received items.
• Administer production control, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes under general supervision.
• Analyze solutions using standard procedures and develop advanced competencies.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
• 3‑5 years of experience in ordnance, ammunition, or munitions roles within Navy, Marine, Army, or Air Force environments.
• Prior experience supporting Navy BOS/Facility Support contracts in austere or remote locations is desired.
• Ability to work effectively in high‑pressure environments with frequent interruptions.
