Accountant

About the role

The Accountant will manage the company's accounting, payroll, and administrative functions while ensuring compliance with company policies and Djibouti financial regulations. This role supports audits, prepares financial reports for management, and handles office administration.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and process daily accounting transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial reports, bank reconciliations, cash flow reports, and budgets.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash, and payroll.
• Ensure timely remittance of taxes and other statutory obligations.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with financial policies and internal controls.
• Manage office administration, procurement, company assets, and office supplies.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, logistics, and office facilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or a professional HR qualification is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting, HR, and administration.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems.
