Construction Superintendent – Djibouti

About the role

The Construction Superintendent will lead field construction activities for multiple task orders supporting U.S. Military and coalition partners at the Djibouti Naval Base. Reporting to the project manager, you will ensure that all work meets KBR’s Zero Harm culture, quality standards, and schedule commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to confirm compliance with contract requirements.
• Develop detailed construction schedules and coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and government representatives.
• Oversee on‑site construction, monitoring progress, budget adherence, and safety protocols.
• Manage renovation, repair, and infrastructure projects in occupied, mission‑critical facilities.
• Ensure proper integration of HVAC systems and Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS) into the built environment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mechanical/HVAC construction and BMS/BAS integration.
• Proven ability to supervise subcontractors and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a military or federal setting.
