HSE Advisor – Safety & Environment (Djibouti)

About the role

Quirón Prevención is looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join its team in Djibouti. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a safe work environment on construction sites, ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor safety programs and policies across all projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Provide safety training and awareness sessions for all employees.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop, update and maintain safety procedures, protocols and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction safety and HSE roles.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and solid problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• HSEGWO certification.
• OSHA or equivalent Occupational Health and Safety certification (preferred).
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations applicable to construction projects.
