Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will coordinate the movement of goods and equipment locally and internationally, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate local and international transportation of goods and equipment.
• Monitor shipments, manage inventory levels, and oversee warehouse operations.
• Prepare shipping and customs documentation and liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and suppliers.
• Track logistics costs, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
• Maintain accurate logistics and inventory records, resolve delivery issues, and support procurement and operational teams.
• Conduct periodic stock counts, monitor supplier and transporter performance, and implement cost‑saving initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–5 years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Knowledge of customs clearance and import/export procedures for heavy machinery.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with logistics management systems.
