Scorekeeper for US Navy MWR Programs

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Scorekeeper to support a US Navy MWR program on Diego Garcia. The role involves providing accurate scorekeeping and timekeeping services for athletic competitions and recreational events.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the official scorekeeper or timekeeper for athletic competitions and sporting events.
• Operate scoreboards, game clocks, timing systems, and other event equipment.
• Maintain official team rosters, verify player eligibility, and record game statistics.
• Prepare athletic facilities prior to events, including setup and testing of equipment.
• Inspect equipment, report malfunctions, and assist with event setup and breakdown.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience supporting organized sports or recreational programs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required installation access, passports, visas, and contract credentials.
• Must pass medical, security, and deployment requirements for a remote overseas location.

Required skills

• Operating electronic scoreboards and timing equipment.
• Accurate record‑keeping of game scores, fouls, penalties, and substitutions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
