Audio Visual VTC Field Service Representative

About the role

GovCIO is seeking an Audio Visual VTC Field Service Representative (FSR) to install, maintain, and operate advanced Audio‑Visual Display Walls and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems for Department of Defense and governmental customers. The position is on‑site in Djibouti or Jordan and requires a high level of adaptability in a deployed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate and maintain AV equipment such as projectors, video walls, microphones, speakers and control systems.
• Operate and support VTC endpoints and related AV gear, ensuring both classified and unclassified conference rooms are functional.
• Schedule, monitor and manage video‑teleconferencing calls using scheduling applications.
• Troubleshoot audio, video, signal‑flow and network connectivity issues across codecs, displays and peripheral devices.
• Provide on‑site technical support during events, conduct pre‑call testing and post‑conference quality checks.
• Document installations, repairs, configurations and service reports; maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment.

Required profile

• Experience working with AV and VTC systems in a military or deployed setting.
• Ability to interact professionally with directorate‑level customers and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the capacity to work under fluid operational tempo.

Required skills

• Installation and calibration of projectors, video walls, microphones, speakers and control systems.
• Configuration and maintenance of VTC endpoints and codecs.
• Troubleshooting of audio, video and network connectivity issues.
• Use of ticketing systems for issue tracking and documentation.
