Project Manager – HVAC/R

About the role

A leading diversified business group in Djibouti is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead HVAC/R projects from engineering design through commissioning and handover. You will coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, manage client relationships, and ensure delivery on schedule, within budget, and in line with quality and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and oversee HVAC/R projects from design to commissioning.
• Coordinate engineers, technicians and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage client interactions, lead project meetings and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning and final handover activities.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality metrics and HSE compliance.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing HVAC/R projects.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.
