Dataset Curator – AI & ML Data Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Dataset Curator to design, maintain, and optimise high‑quality datasets that power AI, Machine Learning (ML) and Large Language Model (LLM) projects. You will work closely with data scientists, AI trainers and engineers to ensure data is accurate, diverse and bias‑free, supporting robust model training and evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, curate and structure datasets for AI/ML training.
• Validate dataset accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Annotate and label data according to project‑specific guidelines.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplicates and anomalies.
• Maintain comprehensive metadata and documentation for each dataset.
• Collaborate with AI trainers and data engineers to define dataset requirements.
• Ensure ethical sourcing and bias mitigation of all datasets.
• Continuously monitor dataset quality and propose improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of proven experience in dataset curation, data analysis or data management.
• Experience handling large‑scale datasets for AI, ML or analytics projects.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Data Management or Curation) are a plus.
