Egocentric Video Data Collector (Remote Contract)

About the role

We are seeking self‑motivated individuals to record first‑person (egocentric) video footage of everyday activities. The captured videos will be used to train next‑generation AI models and humanoid robots. Work remotely, using a head‑mounted smartphone or smart glasses, and follow strict technical guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Record raw POV video of routine tasks (cleaning, organizing, etc.) in various environments.
• Wear a provided head strap or smart glasses to keep hands and objects in view.
• Follow recording specifications such as stable lighting, landscape orientation, required resolution (1080p at 30/60 FPS), and camera angles.
• Upload unedited video files and complete short metadata forms on the project portal within agreed timeframes.
• Collaborate with the QA team and re‑record clips that do not meet framing or duration requirements.

Required profile

• Access to a modern smartphone with a high‑quality camera (1080p, 30/60 FPS).
• Suitable residential or workspace environment where recordings can be made.
• Strong attention to detail – keep hands visible, avoid mirrors/reflections, maintain steady framing.
• Privacy‑conscious – ensure no faces, personal IDs, or sensitive data are captured.
• Self‑starter able to commit 4–20 hours of usable footage over the project timeline.
