HR & Administration Specialist

About the role

Zoomlion Djibouti is establishing a new operation and seeks a proactive HR & Administration Specialist to set up and manage its human resources and office functions. The role will support recruitment, employee relations, payroll assistance and ensure smooth daily administration as the company grows.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end recruitment processes, including advertising, screening, interviewing, onboarding and induction.
• Maintain confidential employee records, HR databases and personnel files.
• Assist with payroll preparation, attendance tracking, leave management and benefits administration.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and exit procedures and handle HR policy inquiries.
• Support performance management, employee evaluations and training activities.
• Prepare HR reports on manpower, attendance, leave and recruitment.
• Oversee office administration, supplies, inventory and procurement requests.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation bookings and meetings.
• Maintain company assets, administrative records and office facilities.
• Liaise with external vendors, service providers and government offices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR and administration roles.
• Knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Fluency in English.
