Space Market, Innovation & Investment Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a highly qualified Non‑Key Expert to support the Africa‑EU Space Partnership Programme (AESPP Boost). The role focuses on developing space and geospatial markets, fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, and enhancing investment readiness across African and European ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis and develop strategies for space and geospatial sectors.
• Design and implement innovation instruments, incubation and acceleration programmes.
• Support commercialisation pathways and improve access to finance for space‑related ventures.
• Provide investment advisory and readiness support to stakeholders in Africa and the EU.
• Contribute to the preparation of project proposals and policy dialogue initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, business administration, engineering, innovation management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in market analysis, innovation, entrepreneurship, business development or investment advisory within technology sectors.
• At least 4 years of experience specifically in space or geospatial markets.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• Knowledge of African space markets and investment ecosystems is a plus.
