Intelligence Screening Specialist (Africa AOR)

About the role

CACI is hiring a Screening Specialist for its Africa Area of Responsibility (AOR), working in support of CTO targeting foreign intelligence services, terrorist organizations and insurgent groups. The screener conducts screenings, completes reports and carries out background checks on LEPs, and runs screening interviews using methods approved by AFOSI. The position is full time, regular long-term assignment, requires up to 100% travel outside the continental US, and needs at least Secret clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and complete reports on LEPs
• Perform background checks and screening interviews using AFOSI-approved methods
• Analyze information in support of CTO targeting foreign intelligence services, terrorist organizations and insurgent groups

Required profile

• 4 years of experience as a civilian equivalent of AFOSI (AFSC 7S071), NCIS, Army CID or USAF security forces (AFSC 3P0X1), or 4 years of law enforcement/investigation experience, or strategic debriefing experience (MOS 35L/M, 180A, 18F, 35E)
• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred
• Preferred: deployed experience and knowledge of screening and investigative questioning techniques
• Highly desired: secondary and tertiary language skills, e.g. French/Hausa for Niger, Arabic/Djiboutian/Somali/Ethiopian for Djibouti, Swahili/Somali for Kenya

• Screening tools such as UFED, BI2R and SOFEX/DONIS
