About the role
The World Food Programme is seeking a Field Monitor (SSA4) for its Tadjourah office in Djibouti. Reporting directly to the RAM Unit Manager, the monitor will support the implementation of research, monitoring and evaluation activities within the country office.
Key responsibilities
- Collect price data for food and non‑food items in local shops to track market trends.
- Assist in gathering field data for ongoing programmes and projects.
- Support the monitoring of field activities and ensure timely reporting to functional teams and implementation partners.
- Provide regular updates and feedback on data quality and field observations.
Required profile
- Ability to work under direct supervision of the RAM Unit Manager.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow data collection protocols.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with functional teams and partners.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Tadjourah for a three‑month assignment.
