Software Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer Annotator to work remotely, focusing on evaluating, labeling, and improving software engineering datasets used for AI and large language model training. The role combines strong programming expertise with meticulous data annotation to ensure high‑quality code datasets for model development.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review software engineering datasets intended for AI training.
• Assess AI‑generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and security.
• Label datasets covering code completion, debugging, refactoring, and optimization tasks.
• Provide structured feedback to enhance model performance.
• Ensure adherence to annotation guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with AI trainers, reviewers, and data teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Prior experience in data annotation, AI training, or code review.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
• Basic knowledge of AI, machine learning, or large language models is a plus.
