Logistics Support Specialist – Work Control

About the role

KBR is seeking a Specialist in Logistics Support (Work Control) to support operations at Camp Lemonnier Naval Base in Djibouti. The role focuses on developing logistical plans, coordinating transportation, maintenance, and warehousing activities, and ensuring timely, cost‑effective service delivery to the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize established operational plans, policies, and procedures to coordinate facility maintenance and support services.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer work order inquiries, providing timely resolutions.
• Support departmental safety, work order tracking, and reporting programs.
• Coordinate work control activities, prioritize and dispatch unscheduled work orders to appropriate trades.
• Maintain dual‑entry records of all unscheduled work orders in KBR and NAVY Maximo systems and conduct routine audits.
• Analyze work management processes, develop performance metrics, and recommend corrective actions.
• Respond to data calls, reports, and RFIs within established service‑level requirements.
• Identify and report asset/location discrepancies in Maximo and coordinate corrective actions.
• Partner with customers to align operational priorities, schedules, and objectives.

Required profile

• Experience developing logistical plans, policies, and procedures.
• Familiarity with facility maintenance, transportation, and warehousing functions.
• Ability to manage work order systems and conduct data audits.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with Facilities, Fire Department, HSE, and other stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Maximo (KBR and NAVY modules).
