Specialist, Materials – Ordnance

About the role

KBR is seeking a Specialist in Materials – Ordnance to manage production control, inventory, and shipping/receiving of materials supporting U.S. armed forces at Camp Lemonnier Naval Base in Djibouti.

Key responsibilities

• Check parts and materials for damage, verify quantity, part number, and serial number of shipped items.
• Record and prepare status reports of requested and received items.
• Administer production control, inventory control, and shipping/receiving functions under general supervision.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.
• 3‑5 years of experience in ordnance or ammunition roles within Navy, Marine, Army, or Air Force environments.
• Experience supporting Navy BOS/Facility Support operations or contracts in austere or remote settings.
• Ability to work effectively in high‑pressure environments with multiple interruptions.

Required skills

• OPNAV/NAVSEA certifications.
• License for explosive handling or related equipment (if applicable).
